Lead Time
Please place your order early! Some weeks are busier than others, especially around the holidays. To avoid disappointment, a 2 week lead time is necessary on large orders and a 48hr lead time on small orders. Occasionally, small orders may be worked in. Phone us… We love to help if we can!
For very special orders, especially weddings and corporate events please place your order ASAP. Baking times for special events fill very quickly… Don't worry, your special order will be baked especially for you and delivered to your event, fresh and lovely!
Shipping
We are a delivery only Company. We deliver Monday thru Saturday - 9am to 5pm and on Sundays between the hours of noon and 4pm only if your order is $100 or more.
The Purple Pie Lady uses USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day transit time), your order is shipped within 2 days of being placed. Please contact us for shipping charges based on your delivery location and keep in mind that not all of our custom creations can be shipped, please inquire within.
We currently ship only to the
Extraordinary care is given in wrapping and packaging your treats. Your treats arrive double boxed, with yards of bubble wrap festive paper fill and tied with a pretty ribbon. On rare occasion a cookie will crack… however we consider it still very delicious and usable. Regretfully, we can not offer return in the unlikely occurrence of a broken cookie. If your order arrives totally crumbled, phone us immediately. We can assist you in filing a claim with the shipping carrier.
Local delivery is charged on a per round trip mile basis and vary based on zip code. Email us for out of state delivery prices, as they vary by state.
Cancellations
In the event you need to cancel or return an order, please call us. Orders already in production may not be cancelled. This is a perishable food product that cannot be resold or returned to stock. We will not accept unauthorized returns. If you have a problem with an order, call us. We want to help you!

Where are you located? We are in Sunrise Florida.
Do you have a shop for me to visit? We do not have a store front. However, we are available for consultations and wedding cake tastings by appointment only.
Do you deliver? Yes. Delivery costs are based on location. We also ship within the Continental US via USPS. Contact us for a quick quote. Please note that our decorated cakes and cupcakes cannot be shipped.
Do you deliver on Sundays? Yes, only if your order is $100 or more and we only deliver between noon and 4pm. If your order is needed prior to noon, let us know, we can deliver Saturday evening.

What factors influence the cost of a decorated cake? The cost of a decorated cake is determined by cake detail, shape, decor and also the amount of time that will be spent on creating the cake.
Can you create a custom cake to my specifications? Yes. If you do not see something on our website that you would like created, just ask; you imagine it, we create it.
Do you provide cupcake stands? To rent, cupcake stands start at $20 as they will be custom created to suit your theme/event. A $50 deposit is also required (which will be returned to you after you return the stand. If you would like to purchase the stand, they start at $30.
